RTO COMPLIANCE QUALIFICATIONS 
FOR RTO COMPLIANCE PRACTITIONERS

In 2016 Alex Schroder, CEO of VetPrep Australia, developed Australia's first ever RTO Compliance qualifications, *CIV in RTO Compliance and *Diploma of RTO Compliance Management.

After these courses were nationally accredited in 2017, Alex then spent almost a year working with the Australian Institute of Compliance Professionals (AICP) team on developing customised learning and assessment resources for these courses.

When asked what inspired her to develop these courses, Alex said "in the VET sector we prepare and up-skill the Australian workforce by providing training and development to the public. We are tasked with providing the knowledge and skills individuals need to ensure they are able to perform their jobs competently. Yet there were no formal learning opportunities for VET Compliance Practitioners to gain the skills and knowledge they need to be expert at their jobs. With the ever-changing landscape of the Australian VET sector constantly striving to provide quality education and training, something had to be done to educate RTO Compliance Practitioners.. so I did it."

The exceptional success of Alex's vision for a VET sector where all Compliance Practitioners are truly skilled and knowledgeable in this and the exceptional work of AICP's dedicated team of professionals, is evidenced in the feedback provided by AICP's clients.

Although *10609NAT Certificate IV in Vocational Education and Training Compliance and 10610NAT Diploma of Vocational Education and Training Compliance Management is delivered by AICP under a partnership agreement with Urban E Learning (RTO 31973), Alex still works closely with AICP in empowering RTOs by providing the knowledge and skills their compliance operations need to remain
in business.
